Classic double breasted jacket and trousers made from green barathea cloth with brass QRH monogrammed flat buttons, (6 large on front, 3 small on each cuff). Turnback cloth cuffs and turn-ups on trousers. Worn with black leather shoes, dress shirt and bow tie.

Respectable floor length bottle green (same as the green suit) dress with shoulders covered.

Green suits are to be worn every week night in the Mess for dinner, with white dress shirts on Tuesday nights or whenever otherwise stipulated.

Green suits may also be worn outside the Mess, for example when dining at the home of a brother officer. Green suits may also be worn by officers in groups of 4 or more when visiting other Messes. 

Green suits are to be worn complete. The jacket is not interchangeable with black tie trousers or trews.
